My AWS SAA-C03 Certification Journey: From Statistical Anomaly to Success
After a month of intensive AWS services study and exam preparation, I confidently signed up and took the AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03) exam on June 29th at a test center. To my complete surprise, I received an email informing me that statistical anomalies were detected in my exam performance and AWS could not validate my results.
I was shocked. My first reaction was to check if this was a spam email. After confirming it was from AWS official channels, I began searching online to understand what could lead to such a situation. I didn’t cheat, and I completed the exam on my own within the allotted time. Everything seemed to go smoothly during the exam. I even took the exam at a test center, not at home, to ensure the most compliance.
Unfortunately, after reading about similar experiences shared online, I had to accept the harsh reality: no one knows the exact reason for these statistical anomalies, and AWS never provides explanations to affected candidates. I tried reaching out to AWS via email, but I never received a response. There wasn’t much I could do to defend myself or obtain a refund. I was so upset that it took me several days to calm down and regain my motivation.
On July 13, I took the exam again at the same test center, and I passed. link
I just view this as a unique experience and don’t want to dwell on the emotional aspects of it anymore. Move on.
